How To Confirm Pregnancy?
Am a 20 year old girl weighing about 60kg.I had a miscarriage and went for an ultrasound scan today.the sonographer said there was a bulky mas s in my uterus with a gestational sac but there was no heartbeat.i did a pregnancy test which shows positive.can it be am still pregnant.what does this mean?

1.Yes, you are pregnant. But its viable or not has to be confirm in followup scan after 1-2weeks, as you have not mentioned the weeks of pregnancy which could confirm right away.
2.If you had bleed and after that no heart beat and fetal pole on ultrasound will confirm failed pregnancy.
3.Bulky mass ? mostly its just a gravid uterus or fibroid?
4.Suggest a follow up scan and act accordingly.
