I have been having late periods for the past 6 months(unusual), this past cycle started on January 3rd and the next one was supposed to start on the 29th. I had unprotected sex with my husband on the 23rd and 28th. Missed my period and at the same time started having sore breasts. A few days later nausea. Then a on the 6th started bleeding. Symptoms didn't stop then like usual. Period was lighter than usual, but steady flow every time I went to the bathroom. No much cramping. Very Weird period. Now my period is over but the symptoms are increasing. When I wake up my breasts are ok, but start getting sore as the day goes on. And I am nauseous every time I eat. I have also been having to go to the bathroom a lot, constipated, heart burn, and weird cravings. Took a pregnancy test when period ended but was negative. I will go to the doctor but want to wait a little more just in case. Has this happen to anyone? where you pregnant? Do you think I could be pregnant?
In rare occasions, some bleeding at or around the expected days of menstruation is known to occur in early pregnancy. Your all symptoms are indications of pregnancy. To confirm your pregnancy status, you have following options:
1. Perform pregnancy test on the overnight early morning first urine sample.
2. Alternatively, you may opt for Beta hCG test on your blood.
You need not delay vising your Gynaecologist. If you are pregnant, please start the ante natal care at the earliest.
I hope this helps you.
