How To Confirm Pregnancy?
i had unprotected sex four days after my period but took postinor 2 5hrs later ,i did same again 3days after and took postinor2 again, i hav bn urinating frequently of late and my period is to come anytime from today but i tested positive after using the home test kit today could it be that i am pregnant

As you have used emergency contraceptive pills after unprotected intercourse both the X the possibility of pregnancy it is comparatively less. But with the delay in the intake of the emergency contraceptive pill after intercourse, the success rate will decrease. Sometimes urine pregnancy test kits can give false positives. And also, just by symptoms we cannot come to an conclusion regarding the pregnancy. So to get the correct result, please go for a blood test for pregnancy.
If the serum beta HCG levels in the blood test give more than 5 mIU/mL it indicates a possibility of pregnancy, if the levels are more than 25 mIU/mL, it confirms the possibility of pregnancy. Whereas the levels less than 5 mIU/mL rules out the possibility of pregnancy. Repeated use of emergency contraceptive pills can affect the reproductive hormonal levels and can lead to menstrual irregularity there should be at least 2 month gap between two emergency contraceptive pills.
