Hi,
You have not mentioned whether you have checked for
pregnancy or not. If you have not checked, please undergo urine or
blood test for pregnancy to rule out the possibility. Then after taking Meprate, it may take some time to get the withdrawal bleeding.
In some women after stopping the tablets, it may take 7 to 10 days to get the withdrawal bleeding. So, you can wait for few more days, possibly you can get the withdrawal bleeding soon. If irregularity in menstrual cycles persists, better to get evaluated. By clinical examination and investigations like
hemoglobin levels, blood sugar levels, thyroid profile, serum
prolactin level, etc.
The possible cause of irregularity in periods can be identified and treatment can be planned accordingly. Once your cycles get regularize, you can go for
ovulation induction drugs with your doctor's advice and can plan for pregnancy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
