How To Confirm Successful Abortion After Taking Cytotec?
Hi doctor! My friend took cytotec and had a light bleeding after 12 hrs of intake, after that nothing else happened, she is we think at 6 weeks for her pregnancy, we are actually expecting heavy bleeding.. after 2 days she took a pregnancy test and its still positive, she is undergoing ultrasound today to see if there is any heartbeat still... Any suggestions, if she already successfully aborted?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is abortion done or tried for this then it is only possible with surgical intervention medicine would not work here, and some time may jeopardize the condition, now it is most advisable to get done the ultrasonography test it will also rule out the pregnancy also if it is not being confirmed, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
