How To Confirm That One Is Positive For Pregnancy In A Test?

Hi doctor I had my periods on 31st may 2011. Planning for pregnancy. We had intercourse on the planned dates. Today is my 23rd day & on a curiosity i done my home pregnancy test. I got a light pink in T Column & a dark pink in C Column, The one which i got light pink was very light. Is it positive.
