How To Confirm The Diagnosis Of Grave S Disease?

I have been diagnosed with Graves disease and wonder if a second opinion would be to my best interest. I have had the T3 and T4 blood work and scans of the thyroid. I am at the point where I just need to schedule for the radioactive iodine treatment but still not convinced it s the problem.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

For correct diagnosis of thyroid function to rule out the disease all the necessary test has to be done, the diagnosis of thyroid disease is challenging and it demands the number of tests, and without that the diagnosis is not possible, you have not given the clinical symptoms that you have and not even mentioned the gender and age.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
