Hello, my BP runs sometimes 130's to 140's, usually, but when I go the Dr I get extremely anxious and it raises very high, after I leave it returns to normal (for me), can I take anything beforehand to relax me without raising my blood pressure? Thankyou
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. It happens many times and it is called as a white coat syndrome. You may discuss this issue with your GP and can take a ciplar before the BP recordings by a doctor. However these days the automatic BP recording machines are available and are very accurate. You may use these recordings as well to monitor your BP. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you. In future if you wish to contact me directly, you can use the below mentioned link: bit.ly/dr-srikanth-reddy
Wish you good health, Kind regards Dr. Srikanth Reddy M.D.
