Hello welcome to HCM. I have read your question and understand your concerns. Your heart rate is remaining elevated because of your medications for asthma. Ask your doctor about it.
In asthma inhalers are best than oral medicines and low dose steroids are drug of choice not asthalin. Asthalin should be taken as an when required otherwise it will rise your heart rate.
Blood pressure should remain less than 140 /90 mmhg. So, kindly consult your doctor and ask for starting a medicines. Remember any B-blocker drugs are contraindicated in asthma. Ask your doctor, he will understand.
Don't worry rapid heart rate upto 140 are not immediately dangerous.
Thank you. Have a nice day.
