HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you are sexually active, you would need to consider a pregnancy test to rule this out.
Pregnancy tests detect the HCG hormone which should be detectable by day 11 to 14 after possible conception.

If pregnancy has been ruled out or is not a possibility then the other causes of delayed period would need to be considered such as: (1)polycystic ovarian syndrome- associated with period delay/irregular, detected by blood tests and imaging of the ovaries

(2)emotional stress or illness
(3)excess prolactin hormone levels
(4)physical illness
(5)abnormal levels of thyroid hormone

Blood test to check thyroid hormone, prolactin hormone levels and hormones abnormalities in polycystic ovarian syndrome, should be done.

I hope this helps
