Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear Sir, First and foremost do not panic. you are only going through the natural evolution of diabetes. During treatment of diabetes initially only diet and exercise would be enough to bring down blood sugars. after a few years you will need the support of insulin sensitizers like metformin. After a few years you will need addition of a second agent like Sulphonylureas. All you have to do is take your blood sugar readings along with HbA1c to your Diabetologist. They can finetune your medications accordingly and Iam 100% Sure you will do very well..
Wishing you the best of health!!
