How To Control Uric Acid And Cholesterol Levels?

Hi my uric acid is 8.6 and cholestrol 240. I have reduced 5 kg weight in the last 6 months through exercise and diet control but uric acid and cholesterol remains high. I am a non vegetarian (mostly fish, sea food & chicken) and love sushi & sashimi. Doctor has given me a hugely restrictive list of food, I would rather get a list of vegetables, fruits and fish, poultry that I can have.

Hi, dear. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. you need to take low protein diet to control your uric avid level. You can also take drug like allopurinol according to ypur doctor's advice. For cholesterol you should take low fat diet with high polyunsaturated fatty acids. and also ypu can take drugs like atorvastatin, or pravastatin or other according to your doctor's advice.
