How To Cope Up With Methadone Withdrawal Symptoms?
My daughter missed her dr approved methadone dose tonight and will not have access to her next treatment until tomorrow at 8 am. She will experience withdrawal tonight as the local hospital emergency will not provide her daily dose and walk in clinics will not help. Can you suggest how she can best get through to tmr morning?

First of all, she should be put nuder medical and psychological supervision during this period.
Second, she can take clonidine, she should take 0.1 -0.2 mg every 3 hours and she should not exceed 0.8 mg per day to control symptoms.
You should measure her blood pressure during this period as clonidine can cause hypotension.
