How To Cure Haemolytic Streptococci?

Hi - I have been told I have haemolytic streptococci after having a vaginal swap taken and given antibiotics. My doctor wasn't very helpful and said it could be sexually transmitted, I have had the same partner for 11 years and we are trying for a baby so am confused. Will the antibiotics clear this up completely? Thanks
