Hi, I am a heart patient that just had a 3 wire pacemaker/defib put in and ever since I have RLS for over 6 wks now. What can get to cure that...I have done all the simple stuff and NOTHING, AND I MEAN NOTHING helps it. I have some prescriped sleep aids but they are addictive and I hate to use those and the morning groggyness takes up all the morning and I am shot for the rest of the day..surely there is something I can take that will help me..it s been so long now that I can t sleep a full night that I fear for my ever getting well after the sx..you need a solid nights rest.. I get 2-3 hours and there but it s really throwing me out of whack..can you help?
Hi, you first get serum iron studies done and if serum Ferritin is less than 75 then you should be started on iron supplements. Also daily Moderate regular exercises, Reduced caffeine intake will help. For symptomatic relief – walking, bicycling, soaking the affected limbs, and leg massage, including pneumatic compression. Medicine you have already tried. if still not responding there vibratory device called as relaxis pad is also available and can be tried
