KMy husband has a large red spot on the top portion of his instep. He has had no allergic reaction as the spot has been there for some time. He does have chronic heel pain, which we have always contributed to the possibility of a bone spur; however, since he is now 44 and his family have a history of diabetes, we are worrying more and more of what this spot might indicate.
