How To Cure Cerebral Encephalopathy?

Hi my wife is out in ICU now she experienced cerebral encephalopathy, what is the recovery? she has sleep wake cycle, can breathe on her own with tracheostomy, she coughs, get startled when a loud bang or noise, can swallow saliva, moves when pain stimuli, cant follow commands.
