How To Cure Enlarged Parotid And Submandibular Glands?
Hi ther I recently had a ct scan done of my neck and jaw......the parotid glands and submandibular glands are mildly enlarged bilaterally raising possibility of sialadentitis. No masses or cysts nor calculi we're found. What does this mean...if no calculus we're found that means, I'm assuming, no stones... I've taken antibiotics already.,although somewhat better I still suffer with a little pain and discomfort in the jaw.....what else could I do or what do,u recommend I should do. If no stones than what would be causing the glands to become enlarged
hello. there can be many causes of the enlargement , including stenosis ( reduction in the cicumfrence) of the gland duct . or it can be a systemic ( diffuse ) cause. i would recommend that you meet your doctor, he will advice some tests and once the cause is known, we will be in a better position to help you. thanks
