How To Cure Excrutiating Groin Pain Following Cardiac Catheterisation ?

my mother has excrutiating groin pain following cardiac catheterisation. The pain has also "lit up" har sciatic nerve and her knee is very painful and "gives way" randomly. The pain has been getting worse over the last three weeks and she is no longer able to drive. Is this nerve impingement from scar tissue and where should she go from here?
