How To Cure Foot Wound?

Hi. I fell down about an hour ago while i was with my sister and we both heard a loud "pop" sound come from my left foot, and its looked like it has had something sticking out of the side since then. I put ice on it, but i have physical education tomorow, and wouldn't want it to get worse. What should i do?
