How To Cure Headaches And Nerve Pain In Back While Having Cervical Herniated Disc?

I have a cervical herniated disc and have had terrible headaches and now nerve pain in my back and both arms. I had a fever yesterday and part of today. I am seeing a pain specialist and am taking medication, had an epideral and block for the headaches. Is there anything else they can do for the pain. I see the neurosurgeon in 2 weeks.

Hello,

You can continue to take Advil or naproxen for pain. You are having really bad and resistant pain since you needed an epidural for it so tramadol may be an option. Take cortico-steroids to reduce inflammation.
