How To Cure Itching And Redness Around The Sides Of The Abdomen Due To Tick Bite?
I was bitten by a tick about two weeks ago. The spot is not healing. It itches, red and about the size of a dime, located on the right side of my abdomen. I completely removed the tick. Today I noticed red spots on my left wrist with two circular looking bruises with a white center-non tender. Could this be Lymes disease or Rocky Mountain spotted fever? I have no fever, aches, chills or pain. Thank you!
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Itching and redness around the sides following tick bite is due to local allergic reaction. Kindly take following measures to overcome it: 1. Tablet. Loratadine once a day for 5 days to control itch. 2. Tablet. Ibuprofen 400 mg twice a day after food for 3 days to control redness. 3. You can apply Hydrocortisone cream at bed time. You should get better in about 3 to 5 days. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
