How To Cure Itching In The Vaginal Area?

Im 26 weeks pregnant and I have an itch that is very irritating,I believe it s the soap I use because if I dont use it I dont itch and then during the day it itches but at night I sleep without underwear and it doesn t itch so i m not sure if it s the soap, the extra moisture, or from my underwear rubbing against me all day.....????!!!

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Itching in the vagina can be due to allergy to the soap or underwear, or due to the vaginal infection, which is common in pregnancy.
I would suggest you to stop using the particular soap and underwear, and get yourself examined internally by an OBGYN specialist to confirm the diagnosis and get appropriate treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
