How To Cure Leg Cramps After Lumber Spinal Fusion?

I had a lumber spinal fusion, 6 days post-op. I am not supposed to stand or sit longer than 20 minutes, take short walks etc. Thus I am in bed a lot. I have taken short walks as instructed but when I am in bed I get leg cramps in both lower leg muscles. What can I do to mitigate this?
