I am an 18 year old female, I suffer with low blood sugar but have never been diagnosed with diabetes. This does run in my family, For the past two days I developed hiccusp lasting 10 minutes or so. Today I felt chest pain on left side,a very annoying pain, sharp but not severe. The pain came on everytime I tried to speak.

That can be very annoying sometimes. Well generally hiccups are because of phrenic nerve irritation. most common reason would be dehydration. Take water in gulps. Sometimes it becomes for of a psychological so at times you need to divert your mind as well. Regarding hypoglycemia please get an extended GTT done along with insulin assay. This might help determine the cause.
