How To Cure Lump At The Palatoglossal Arch?

I have servere seasonal allergies, I have tried clariton, zyrtec, allegra, and finally am taking xyzal which worked well last year. This yr it is not. I have has strep 2 times since may, I have had 2 ear infections and now have developed lumps along my palatoglossal arch. The ear pain, and pain along these arches is bad, ibuprofen does not help. I was recently given an antibiotic for the lumps and they have gone down but the pain is back and my fear is not that my 10 day supply of antibiotic is done that they will come back. My question is what are these lumps? Are they most likely tied to my allergies? Is it time to try ANOTHER antihistamine?
