How To Cure Nose Bleed Due To A Injury?

My toddler fell and hit the bridge of his nose between the eyes, his nose bled slightly but there wasnt a solid flow. He didn t cry for too long. He is able to sniffle through his nose. I am wondering if there is anything that I should watch for that could be a concern?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query and history.
If the bleeding has stopped and the baby can sniffle there is nothing to worry.
Yet to confirm that everything is fine , it is always better to consult an ENT Surgeon for a direct examination and investigations for nose like X-ray in the lateral position of the nasal bones to if there is any fracture or so.
In children the fractures are of the green-stick variety, meaning the bones are not completely fractured and many return back to normal and the remaining work of correction is done by the body . So do not worry if there is a NO deformity.
Normally no active treatment is needed.
