How To Cure Pain And Dislocation In The Thumb?

about 6-7 weeks ago i dislocated my left thumb during a game of cricket, i put it back in myself. I was just joint closest to the thumb nail. Now when i bend my thumb there is alot less bend allowed compared to my other thumb, and pretty bad pain, 7/10... also hurts after playing guitar (bends the other way).. i was thunking a sprain or somethign similar but it has been 6+ weeks without reinjuring it and only started playing guitar within the last week
