How To Cure Painful Lump With Pus ?

I have a thumb nail sized lump on the upper right side of my public area.. i have had it work a month or 2 now and it s never hurt unless I squeeze it length wise.. and I have managed to get zit like pus to come out.. but now like 2 days ago it started getting painful and has grown.. should I be worried? I m a 22 year old male and I can deal with the pain it gives but im worried it s somthing I should goto the hospitol for
