Hi, I'm Clair, 49 yr old. There has been for some time now a mass in my throat. I did began going to the doctor and he ran something done my nose to look at it. He was also sending me to have a ct done, but insurance came up, so I never had it done. I have been singing most of my life and have sang for hard. Sometimes I do feel a little pain and itch. But the most problem happen is when I take pill like they get struck in my throat, this is not with food just with pills. I am very concern about this because sometimes I feel pain running down a little to my chest area too. Please response, thanks.

hello

There can be a few possible reasons for your troubles , the first one may be due to acid reflux causing a swelling in your throat and the second one can be the swelling caused by your singing , please dont worry as these can be easily treated with medications and speech therapy , please meet your ent doctor , he will do an endoscopy on you and look into your throat and guide you further .dont worry!

Thanks
