How To Cure Red Scars Which Looks Like Insect Bite?

My daughter has what appears to be bites of some kind on her arms, stomach/back and legs. They come up red and after a day or two scab over. All of this started about a month ago. We have two dogs and a cat but we do not have fleas, we have treated everything for fleas and mites. Any suggestions?

Hi,
It may be lichen urticatus with secondary infection. The lichen urticatus also called papular urticaria is the hypersensitive reaction to insects bite. The insects may be bed bug, flea or mosquito or some other. Antibiotics, antihistaminic and short course of steroid might improve the condition. Apply mild steroid with antibiotic cream on the lesions. Avoid soap bath. Use dettol for for bath. You may be improved. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
