Hello,

I understand your concern for the bruises in your husband. It is really bothersome to find anything unusual on skin.

You have not told us your husband's age and related any medical illness so that I could have reached to a proper diagnosis and accordingly suggestions for the same.

In general bruises are formed due to seepage of red blood cells under the skin from the blood vessels.

There can be multiple causes including platelet function abnormality or clotting and bleeding time abnormality or due to unknown causes too.

I suggest you to keep a watch over the areas. If these are increasing then should meet a family physician to get his platelet count , bleeding time and clotting time analyzed.

All the best.
