How To Cure Runny Nose, Fever, Cough And Heavy Eyelids?
Thanks..i have a runny nose, feeling of lethargy, feeling slightly feverish intermittently, some coughing, heavy eye lids. I have a history of upper respiratory allergies but this is the most acute episode in many years. I have had the flu shot over a month ago. My symptoms began about 4 days ago.
Hello dear , I read your query and understand your concern. It looks you are suffering allergic rhinitis .Patients with intermittent symptoms are often treated adequately with oral antihistamines, decongestants, or both as needed. Regular use of an intranasal steroid spray may be more appropriate for patients with chronic symptoms. In this case of upper respiratory allergies, we use an antihistamine such Benadryl 50 mg every 8 hours , ceterizine is a good alternative, 5-10 mg PO qDay, depending on severity of symptoms; not to exceed 10 mg qDay. hopev it was helpful. Best regards.
