How To Cure Runny Nose, Vomiting, Fatigue And Mild Fever?

My 4 year old daughter has experienced a runny nose for the past two months. She has also had intermittent fatigue and mild fever (100 degrees) with vomiting about once a week for the past two months. She seems 100 percent better the next day but it seems to be lingering. I had her tested for strep and flu two months ago when it started and both tests were negative. The doctor said it was a cold. Is there something else it could be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
I feel she is allergic to something to which she is constantly exposed to.Allergy causes cold...getting secondarily infected...forming cough over days...when she vomits out cough..she feels better...
but the vicious cycle continues.
The possible allergens need to be recognised & prevented ...to curtail further progression of symptoms
Please consult an allergy specialist for children.
She can be syrup Synarest for common cold over the counter after giving her blood sample for allergy screening & CBC .Protect her from cold, dust ,smoke or fumes....she gets appointment of doctor.

Thanks
