How To Cure Severe Cough And Irritating Sensation On My Throat?

Dear Sir,

I am having severe cough and irritating sensation on my throt. I am a diabetic and taking Janumet 50/1000 Morning & Evening and taking Atocor. For this irritation i have taken amydramine syrup and azithromizin 500 mg yesterday evening and taken amydramine syrup two times since morning today. But this itching sensation in the through is not going and stimulating sever cough. Please advise

Hello

The irritation and cough can also be due to an allergic reaction and i would like you to change your syrup to syrup phenargan 2teaspoon twice a day.
i would also like you to continue your azithromycin for another 2 days,
If your cough does not subside, please get back to me and i will tell you what to do next.
