How To Cure Sharp Chest Pain And Feeling Light Headed?

Hi, I have been having a sudden sharp, jolting (almost being shocked) in my chest. I have had them as long as I can remember and they happen randomly. When they happen I usually get light headed or have a headache afterwards. sometimes my arm hurt afterwards, or I will feel like I am going to passout. Can you tell me if this is related to my heart or what it could possibly be?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
By your history and symptoms like chest pain, arm pain, light headedness, headache, feeling of passing away etc are clearly indicating cardiac cause.
So immediately get done
1. ECG
2. 2D Echo
3. Stress test.
You may have coronary heart disease. So better to consult cardiologist and discuss all these.
