How To Cure Shoulder Area Gone Into Spasm ?

Hi My shoulder area has gone into spasm so I have to take co-codamol and valium to hopefully relax it, Im going back the gp today as they only gave me 2mg of valium so I can only relax for an hour then Im in pain again, also I started bleeding (bright red colour) today and as I take yasmin pill back to back I no longer have periods any thoughts why this is?
