Hi
Most small vessel vasculitis is autoimmune in nature.Such diseases have to be treated with regular follow up with a rheumatologist or an expert physician in those. These are chronic diseases which has remission and exacerbation phases. You need to take long term medication and continuation phase medication after getting remission with regular follow up.This will avoid any complications like brain or kidney damage.Your walking balance issue could be a neurologic complication. It will get cleared up slowly by physiotherapy and follow up medications.Let me know if you have any further query.
thanks
