How To Cure Sneezing, Nose Congestion And Running Nose?

hi doctor,

i recently shifted to bahrain two weeks ago but i have been caught with sneezing, nose congestion and running nose. In dubai i had this problem 2 years ago but when i came to riyadh where the weather is dry, i totally got fit. But again i started having the same problem which i had in dubai since i came to bahrain.
please advise what should i do to cure my running nose, congestion and sneezing problem.

Hi Sohail. It is good that you know the cause. If you can not avoid the cause ( leave Dubai) take steroid nasal spray as directed on the bottle or advised by your Doctor. This alone helps maximum of patients. If still not relieved you may have to add on antihistamine tablets like cetirizine a small course of oral steroid like deflazacort in reducing doses preferably under Doctor's supervision. Cure is possible only on changing the atmosphere / place as you know.
