How To Cure Tuberculosis Leading To Cough & Irritation Of Throat?

Hello

I've been diagnosed with tuberculosis. I started my treatment 1.5 months ago. Most of the psyntoms have dissappeared, except the coughing. I still feel an irritation in my throat, which makes me cough constantly. Is this normal?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Some amount of cough is normal in tuberculosis for first 2-3 months.
But better to get done chest x ray to rule out worsening of tuberculosis.
If chest x ray is showing improved lesions than no need to worry for this dry, irritant cough.
For this you should start antihistamine drug.
Cough suppressant syrups are also available and are useful for this.
Do warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
Drink plenty of fluids orally. Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid hard to chew food.
Don't worry, this cough will subside.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
