How To Cure Wound After Falling From The Cycle?

hi i fell from my bicycle 8 days back. had a 2 inch cut on my right knee. i cleaned it with dettol and applied soframycin to it. used cotton and white bandage for 2-3 days. was walking also during this period. also applied neosporin powder it was healing. but i let it wet on day and also did bit of stretching. now the cut has reappeared with some puss what to do? do i need to have stiches? plus when can i start using the cycle again?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have history of trauma and injury. You now have pus discharge from wound. You should consult your doctor and need examination. If you have infected wound then you need antibiotics. Cefadroxil or amoxiclav can be used. If wide wound or gapping is there then you need stiches.
Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
