How To Deal With A Misanthropic Person?

i have a query regarding my father.for the past couple of years he speak very less,he doesnt reply to any question being asked straight away.he has been a kind of misanthrope.he assumes that watever he thinks he speaks is right and rest all are wrong.the way he reacts to things is weird. i think his ability to think freely has been obstructed and there is some disorder.i want him to get cured and back to normal and happy life.please help

thanx for your query on HCM,
its a very normal feature with most of the old parents.
they want their things to be heard.
they think that they are always right and others are wrong.
dont be much bothered about it.
there is no way to change their mindset unless they themselves realise that what they are doing is wrong.
dont heed to such things and be affected by it.
it is not easy. but you have to take a hard step.
just act as if you are hearing to him and do what you think is right.
if possible, do talk to someone who is close to him and see if they can change him.
be less worried...be happy
