How To Deal With Stiffness Of Vagina In Pregnancy?

oh wow ok, i am 23 weeks pregnant and the lips of my vagina have been getting very stiff after sitting for periods of time. when i stand it is very painful for the first few steps. once i am able to walk it begins to ease and the pain eventually leaves. what is it and is there anything I can do?

This is the process of gradual ripening of your cervix, which feels like your vaginal lips are stiffening. There is absolutely nothing to worry about, although it will continue to progress through your pregnancy and slowly subside after delivery.
