i have PCO ,my period is irregular, i m embarrassed due to hirsutism with chin,leg hair ,what i understand my hormones are imbalanced..in thi case what should i do to overcome this situation,plz give me some suggestion ,what to get rid of this embarrassment.
Hello dear Understand your concern You should consult the gynecologist for proper management of the PCOS. first you have to regularize the hormonal imbalance that reduce the hirsutism problem. Take oral contraceptive pill and progesterone pill to regularize the period. For hirsutism - Cosmetic treatment: Do Regular shaving and depilatory creams, temporary treatment by tweezing and waxing and permanent treatment :thermolysis, electrolysis and laser treatment - Drug therapy: Topical eflornithine
But should be taken after consulting the gynecologist.
