How To Detect Pregnancy?

Hello my name is Hari.My girlfriend said she is missing her period for past 6-7days. She was having perfect periods for years with out any delay( even if ther was it was max 2 days early before her date). On last 23 rd june we had tried to have an intercourse but it we couldn t nd now its about 1month . We tried and didn have a good sex that day ,still we are confused whether she is pregnant. She says she is having some head aches and back pain nd no other symptoms like vomiting( may b coz of she is now travelling a little and have stress goin for classes). She is having some gastric problem for sometime. Could she be pregnant? How can we know it? Is pregnancy detection kits available from medical stores with out prescription in kerala? And if she is pregnant what can we do to abort this time? is there any medicines available for this?

I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Since a month has elapsed since the incident, you can detect if conception has occurred by using the home pregnancy test kits like Preganews available over the counter at medical stores. If positive and if you do not wish to retain the pregnancy, you should contact a specialist for a proper clinical evaluation and a guided induced medical abortion after a trans-vaginal sonogram to locate the gestation sac and the age of the pregnancy.
