How To Detect Pregnancy?

Hi, I have not had my period since september 15 i had sex on October 2 when I had healthy cervical mucus, and i ovulated on october 3. It is now November 9 still no period just light brown spotting for about 8 days. I've taken 3 home pregnancy tests and all were negative. I've been extremely hungry and feeling out of it. Could I still be pregnant?

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not worry.

2 ) As you might be aware that if you are not pregnant then your periods usually start 14 to 15 days after the day of ovulation.

So in your case , you were supposed to start your periods on 16th October.

3) As your urine pregnancy test in November is negative, then you can assume that you are not pregnant. In case of doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.

4 ) Now you can simply wait for the onset of periods or induce the periods with Tab Regestrone 5 mg twice a day for 5 days. Usually periods start within 3 to 10 days of finishing the tablets.

I hope this answer helps you. Thanks.
