How To Detoxify THC From An Unborn Babies System?

Hello, my name is Kaitlyn and before I found out I was pregnant I was a frequent user of maryjuana. I am now 37 weeks and 4 days. I m 90% effaced and 2 cm dilated. Up until about a month ago I was doing great with not smoking pot. Well, unfortunately, I found the back pain and nausea to be unbearable so I would smoke weed to ease my nausea and back pain. I just smoke yesterday and I went to my doctors appointment today and I am being told that cps will be called if my baby test positive for thc! I don t understand why? I am not an unfit mother by any means. Please help! What should I expect and is it possible to get rid of the thc in my and my babies systems within the next few days or until I m induced. I am suppose to be induced on the 9th of December. What should I do? Or expect really?

The sudden withdrawal of the marijuana is associated with number of issues with the mother as well as the new born infant depending upon the duration, dose consumed with body response of the mother. Now at this point of time, with 2 cm dilation and 90 % effacement, there is nothing you can do to wash the marijuana from your system to possible halt the effects over baby. Now, do not consume further doses of the same and let the time show the effects over the newborn if any, would be best tackled by an expert pediatrician.
