How To Diagnose Pneumothorax While Suffering From Severe Anxiety?

I had a pneumorthorax 3 months ago. I had the pleuradesis to correct this but have started getting similar pains on the opposite side. After xrays I ve been.told there s no evidence of a pneumorthorax yet, but it could happen, as a previous ct scan shows blebs on my lungs. I am extremely anxious, nervous and constantly living in fear of the same happening. The 1st time, so much went wrong I was in hospital for 6 weeks in total and suffered from a severe case of pneumonia after negligence from one of the surgeons. Is there anything I can do to prevent a pneumorthorax or any advice on calming this awful anxiety, as my g.p has told me to just try forget about it . Thanks in advance.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is very less likely to have pneumothorax it is being already tool place at one side so on other side of lung it is less likely unless have some pre-existing etiology, so better not to worry, in my opinion better to treat or managed the underlying etiology that may cause pneumothorax hope this information helps.
