How To Ease The Pain After Taking Cortisone Shots?

Had cortisone shots in my wrist 11days ago and now I m in a lot more pain. Having bad headaches, my neck and shoulders hurt not to mention from my elbows down to my fingers are unbearable pain and at times I feel like I m going to pass out. Is there anything to ease my pain?

Hi,

It isn't supposed to cause more pain. the location and movement of a pain gives clues as to what is going on. cannot say in your particular case, but generally, the pain would be localized or move outward. The location and movement of a pain gives clues as to what is going on and headache / upper body pain is often due to stress / tension and NSAIDS maybe with a muscle relaxer is the general treatment.
