HI. On my lower front tooth is seems to have getting soft and break away from the top. Is there any thing online that I can cover the tooth with .temporarily Till I can afford to have it fixed. I have 3 small children and can't afford to have it fix. Its made me really self conscious.
Thanks for your query .Well this a very common problem when teeth loose there strength and chip off easily .There can be certain reason like genetich factors, eating habbits (eating too much sugary and acidic food) or brushing too hard and frequently (specially in anteriors) .In some cases severe grinding of teeth(bruxism) at night can also be one of the cause.
I would suggest you to spot eating/drinking too much hot or cold foods and beverages ,also avoid too much acidic foods and drinks(aerated drinks) .brush your teeth with ultra soft brush with proper brushing technique like in circular motion, rinse mouth after sugary and acidic food/drink and consult dentist for mouth guard if you have grinding problesm.
